St. David’s Preschool Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a loving, Christian environment and to partner with parents in guiding children on their journey toward achieving all that God has planned for them.

St. David’s Preschool Goals

1. To provide a Christian setting in which each child will appreciate the loving nature of God, and thus, his/her own self-worth and individuality.
2. To understand and accept differences and learn how to interact with peers in a way that shows respect.
3. To acknowledge child’s play as a way of working and learning.
4. To structure the learning environment so that a child learns basic skills along with an awareness of a world outside of self and family.
5. To vary developmentally appropriate teaching activities and resources to accommodate individual learning styles and needs.
6. To separate from parent and encourage each child’s sense of self-sufficiency and independence.
7. To gain a positive image of school as a place to discover, learn and grow.
